Less is more here.
The simplicity of design is compensated by the richness of the stone.

Designed by
Theodore H. Waddell, Architect

The legs have 2 beveled edges with a spacer in between the bevels.

The top is positioned over the legs with position pegs. The top and legs remain in place from it’s own weight. It’s easy to take a part, move, and put together.

The advantage and disadvantage is the weight of the stone.

This piece was one of Theodore’s wife’s favorite pieces. It was easy to move and elegant in many different settings.

This table could be made from various types of stone with tops that match, glass or stone with glass overlay.

The legs can be made various heights, but are currently coffee table height only. All materials make it easy for manufacturing and transport.

Backstory

A design that uses various types of stones for a personal use coffee table based on minimal labor setup.

The table requires minimum man hours for manufacturing and easy mass production. Yet the materials maintain the elegance required by the sophisticated buyer.

THE RESULTING PATTERN IS SIMPLE, YET INFINITELY VARIED IN A BEAUTIFUL BUT DELICATE MATERIAL.
