Theodore Waddell was a recognized architect and industrial designer, who created modern and functional designs. His designs include buildings, lights, furniture and one of a kind pieces for friends, family and collectors. Many of our designs are updated with todays technology from his original designs.

Theodore graduated from Horace Mann High School in Riverdale, NY and received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry, an MBA from Cornell University, MA in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and a Doctorate in Architecture (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Florence in Italy.

Theodore was an Adjunct Professor of Architecture for Kent State and Cal State. He taught the Thomas Jefferson Memorial design course at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.

He was a proficient photographer and a highly regarded architect, lamp and furniture designer. He was published and his photographs were displayed internationally in many museums and international shows in Europe and the US.

One of his inventions, which once graced Playboy Magazine’s Christmas catalogue, is now housed as part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City along with two other designs. The pieces are also in private collections where they are valued at thousands of dollars.

The Musée du Louvre in Paris, France sponsored two shows for Theodore's designs and photographs.
